The Penrhyn Road campus houses all the general and specialist facilities for our courses. Here you will find our modern laboratories and other specialised accommodation as well as teaching rooms, lecture theatres and the learning resource centre.
The Faculty has developed an extensive range of spacious, well-equipped laboratories for teaching and research. There are laboratories dedicated to sports science, analytical chemistry, pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, biochemistry, microbiology, environmental science amongst others. We have a media technology studio suite serving media technology and related courses and a new, spacious, "scene of crime" facility to provide realistic experience for students of forensic science.
There are extensive open access computing laboratories specially equipped to meet the needs of geographical information systems and advanced computing modules. The learning resource centre holds an extensive book and journal collection enhanced by rapid access to a range of e-resources. The Mineralogical Society's library is also located here.
