Postgraduate Opportunities
The School offers a variety of MSc courses in subjects related to the Analytical, Pharmaceutical and Forensic sciences, some of which can be taken with Management Studies. All last for one year full-time or two years part-time. Intermediate qualifications of Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma may be awarded to students who do not complete the full course. Follow the link to Masters Courses for more details of these courses and the facilities offered by the School.
For those wishing to obtain a postgraduate qualification by research, the School offers opportunities to work for PhD, MPhil or the new MSc by Research and Dissertation degrees. All of these involve following an approved scheme of research, attending a number of courses and presenting a thesis which will be the subject of an oral examination. The minimum registration periods for these degrees are three, two and one year(s) respectively.
For more information about the research areas supported by the School and the research interests of individual members of staff, see the Research and Staff pages.
